Full written instructions are included below, and there’s a downloadable version too, if you want to keep it handy.
Please note: This video uses a different sealer than what is included in this kit, but the application is the same.
Prepare Your Surface
- Protect surrounding walls, trim and other surfaces from overspray by using 48” masking film and blue painter’s tape to secure the film.
- Sweep and mop the floor to look for any glue or contaminants which could affect the ability of the stain to penetrate.
- Run over the surface with a palm sander (80 grit sandpaper) or a sanding block to open the pores of the concrete and remove any glue or contaminants.

SureCrete SCR Cleaner and Degreaser
- Mix 1:1 with water and pour into a pump-up sprayer.
- Spray across entire surface and use a stiff bristle brush to work the material down into the substrate.

- Ensure the surface remains partially damp during the process to allow for good penetration.
- Neutralize the surface with water, THOROUGHLY RINSE AND ALLOW TO DRY before moving on to staining your concrete.
Stain Your Concrete
- Shake the bottle of Eco-Stain thoroughly to ensure all the pigment is incorporated.
- Mix 3 parts water to 1 part Eco-Stain in a clean bucket and pour into a pump-up sprayer.
- Apply using a circular motion to avoid overlap marks or patterns from the sprayer.

- Surface should remain slightly damp during application to allow for good penetration.
- Let the stain dry overnight, then gently use a dry microfiber/Swiffer pad on the surface. This will lift off any extra pigment or dust sitting on top. Excess stain pigment must be removed for best sealer adhesion.
- Once that’s done, you’re ready to seal and protect your newly stained concrete.
Seal and Protect Your Concrete
Concrete Coatings SuperSeal 20WB Water-Based Acrylic Sealer
- Thoroughly shake the bottle of sealer and then pour it into a clean roller pan.
- Cut in along edges using a small roller or brush to create a clean line and avoid material getting onto surrounding surfaces.

- Use a 9” or 18" roller to apply material uniformly over the remainder of the surface. Ensure there are no missed spots, or areas of heavy accumulation or puddles.
- Allow to dry.
- Once dry, apply a second coat and allow to dry. Then, move on to waxing your concrete.
SureCrete SureFinish Sacrificial Wax
Note: Waxing the surface provides several benefits, it’s an easy way to protect the sealer and extend its lifespan. Plus, contrary to popular belief, it actually improves slip resistance.
- Thoroughly shake the bottle of SureFInish and pour a ribbon of material on the floor and apply using a microfiber applicator.
- Saturate the applicator and spread uniformly across the surface.

- Ensure there are no puddles or missed spots.

- Allow to DRY 2 HOURS MINIMUM.
- Apply second coat and allow to dry.
- Maintain by recoating occasionally (1-3/year) to preserve the wax’s protective properties.
